listed here are a few projects that we have been involved in:

  • helping women from war ravaged areas who settle in our area by providing them with sensitization seminars and workshops on several projects including bread making, wine, ropes, mats and cooking baskets.
  • several district level events. We were awarded a Certificate of merit in an Exhibition held at Gaba, entitled 'Keep Lake Victoria Region Clean' (Environmental protection).
  • holding sensitization seminars on HIV/AIDS, Mother to Child Transmission Prevention.
  • holding sensitisation for the community to protect environment and fight poverty.
  • continued to sensitize the community on prevention of HIV/AIDS and Mother to Child transmission programme. Equip grass root women with skills to manage businesses and know the importance of saving.

To enable us to fulfil our objectives and release our true potential  we would like an office with computer / photocopying facilities, Additionally button makers, sewing machines, a showroom, conference room, and transport as our materials are bulky and therefore difficult to transport. We also plan to obtain a Cycle styling machine which will help by giving women employment. It will help women to seperate garbage and polythene paper.
